Can I tell you how much I am loving the fresh produce wash at the moment?! Food tastes better, looks better and I love to know that I am getting off pesticides and other gross stuff off my fruit and veggies.
It get rid of pesticide, oils, residues, chemicals, bacteria and dirt.
Food lasts longer in the fridge

You just use 15mls and it makes up 500mls of solution, do the bottle lasts a long time.
How do you use the Norwex Fresh Produce wash?
You mix up 15mls and 500mls of water
You can mix up the solution into a bottle and spray, wait 30 seconds & rinse
Soak fruits and vegetables for 1-2 minutes then leave to dry or dry with a the Norwex fruit and veggie scrub cloth (Handy tip: if you are doing a large amount simply make up two bowls, so you have one soaking while you are washing the other)
You swish around leafy vegetables, broccoli and cauliflower and then rinse.
Here is a picture of a piece of broccoli being washed with just water (notice the repelling) and then after soaking for a minute… note the water! A-MAY-ZING!!

There have been MANY times a simple travel enviro in my handbag has come to the rescue!
I remember the time all the cafe chairs were wet & one single highly woven, absorbent (AMAZING) travel enviro wiped up ALL the water. Yes ALL the water. If I had little kids still I am sure I would have appreciated it at parks too- you know that annoying wet slide that makes your kidlets bottoms wet! My Rosacea Story
I have had it since I was pregnant with my first child, many develop it from the age of about 30. Apparently people can develop it during pregnancy with the increase of hormones in the body when you are pregnant (hey I also shrunk, I needed root canal and my feet grew from a size 10 to 11- yes and it was all worth it!). I am not a medical professional and this purely is my story with what worked for me.
What is rosacea? (pronounced Roy-ZAY-sha)
According to The Rosacea Society, rosacea “is a chronic and potentially life-disruptive disorder primarily of the facial skin, often characterized by flare-ups and remissions. Many have observed that it typically begins as a redness on the cheeks, nose, chin or forehead that may come and go. In some cases, rosacea may also occur on the neck, chest, scalp or ears. Over time, the redness tends to become ruddier and more persistent, and visible blood vessels may appear. Left untreated, bumps and pimples often develop, and in severe cases the nose may grow swollen and bumpy from excess tissue”.
It’s not very nice, people will have different triggers with different things impacting on people with rosacea for example chocolate can mean a flare up for one person, whereas eating wheat could be the next person’s flare up. For me hormonal imbalances are a huge trigger.
I used a RANGE of things to try and combat my Rosacea (outlined below), what I have LEARNT is it is important to Think HOLISTICALLY– introducing chemical free cleaning- reducing exposure on the skin surfaces: less exposure= less chance of a reaction, thinking about what is going IN to the body aswell as ON to the body. I will outline what helped for me, knowing that many men and women had/have Rosacea so far worse than I ever did- I do feel for anyone who has it.
Flushed cheeks & intense pimples
I really didn’t want too, but I felt I wanted to show you one of the less dramatic pictures I took in the midst of a flare up.
One of the areas of research was the use of Vitamin B to help. I ordered online a natural vitamin B5 formula/tablet. It was fabulous and after a month- I felt my skin was healing from within and recovering from all the creams my doctors kept prescribing me. Rosacea, Acne and Face care: The products that could help!
I have friends and customers with teenagers, desperately seeking a solution for their face care and acne issue. Parents spending hundreds on products which often don’t live up to their stated claims. Men and women all with the same issue… acne. I want to introduce you to the body cloth which CLEANSES and EXFOLIATES the face and body JUST WITH WATER. I love the stories one of my consultants shares about her teenage son… he washes the dishes with no shirt and for three days she wiped his very pimple-filled back with the body cloth… on the fourth day… the pimples had gone! The Body Cloth cleanses and exfoliates the skin. The dryer the cloth the more exfoliation, so around the eye areas particularly have it quite wet or use our Suede make up removal cloths which are very gentle on the skin and offers gentle cleansing alongside make up removal. Have a read about them in a previous blog entry HERE. If you have very inflamed skin I wouldn’t have it too dry. For oily skin or for deeper exfoliation, wring cloth out well before use.
More water in the cloth = the less it will remove oils and exfoliate,
less water in the cloth = the more it will remove oils & exfoliate.
The really effective thing the microfibre also does is when you wipe your face, the microfibre grabs bacteria and other impurities off your skin AND then doesn’t spread it over the rest of your face- this also helps in management of skin issues.
I know when I was really struggling with my face, this cloth was so good at helping with the dry skin that came about from my medication. I also used our shea butter as the only moisturiser (it only has three ingredients and offers really great hydration).
As the cloths have added silver to them (have a read about that here) this also aids in cleaning the cloth, while the microfibres are drying.

For managing acne, use fresh cloth daily.
BODY CLOTH MAINTENANCE: After use for removing makeup the washer could be stained with mascara, eyeliner and lipstick. Just apply a bit of soap (eg.sard) to the washer and rub against itself, rinse and wring out, and the makeup will wash right out. IMPORTANT: Take care using around delicate eye and lip areas on the face. The Suede Makeup Remover Cloth is recommended for use on these areas.

Suede make up cloths
For a more gentle cloth the suede make up removal cloth, anses but has little exfoliation. It will take your make up off with just water. I think I just MAY be a “kitchen cloth snob” most people who love Norwex will do just what I admit to doing… packing 1 or 2 kitchen cloths when you go on holidays!! WHY?
