Norwex Ultra Power Plus does it again!!!

Norwex Ultra Power Plus does it again!!!

This photo was taken by a Norwex customer (not one of mine) and is being shared with her permission. The towel with the F has been washed with Fab, the other with the N has been washed with Norwex Ultra Power Plus. You can also see the comparison between products in the glasses at the back of the photos. The Norwex powder is completely dissolved whereas the Fab is not (which is the filler in the product which won’t dissolve)

One oven… cleaned in TEN minutes- do YOU believe it?

Who HATES cleaning the oven?

Well I did, but now I LOVE IT! I know, wierd right? I guess it’s all about the tools we use. If we have something that works and makes it easier, then we can experience an attitude shift. I’m so grateful I stumbled upon Norwex. At the original party I held as a “favour” for my friend, she cleaned my oven. My 6 month pregnant consultant sprayed the Norwex oven and grill cleaner on my much baked upon oven, I think it was descibed as a “dream oven for demo’s”!! (I’ll try not to take offense!! haha) After a small amount of scrubbing with the spirinet, the baked on “cooking love” as I call it, just dissolved. No horrible smell, no scrubbing, no face masks, no falling over from the fumes, DONE! The wire racks silver once more, the glass like new.

On the weekend I consulted at a party where half the people were motivated to come because I was claiming I could clean the host’s oven with ease and only a small amount of effort! Well in the picture below you can see the result. It took ten minutes and LOTS of “oooooh’s and ahhhhh’s!!” 🙂

Gluten Free Triple Chocolate Biscuits

So I know that this isn’t a purely Norwex Post, but I had to share this yummy recipe with you and I thought the kitchen towel looked so stunning in the photo 🙂 My daughter Jessica needs to eat gluten free so I am always on the look out for and creating YUMMY treats for her and the family 🙂 Hope you enjoy it. And trust me you can’t “tell” it is gluten free!!

Triple Chocolate Chewy Gluten free biscuits

Makes Approximately 35

Ingredients

200g block dark chocolate

1 cup choc bits (a mix of white and milk)

1 ½ cup plain gluten free flour

½ cup unsweetened baking cocoa

½ teaspoon bicarb soda

¼ teaspoon sea salt

1 cup brown sugar

125 g butter softened

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, 160 degrees in using a fan forced oven.
  2. Melt 150g of the dark chocolate block and cut up the remaining 50g.
  3. In a food processor add the flour, cocoa, bicarb, salt and sugar. Process until all combined.
  4. Add the butter and process on high until all combined.
  5. Add the vanilla, melted chocolate and eggs. Process until it forms a lovely dough.
  6. Slowly add in the dark chocolate and choc bits.
  7. Line trays with baking paper and drop teaspoons of the mixture onto the paper. They do spread, so leave space in between.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes, not too long as you will loose that soft centre. Leave on the baking paper to cool down.
  9. Store in an air tight container for up to 4 days.

Enjoy!

The mini travel enviro cloth… the answer to cleaning my dusty, mouldy venetian blinds!

cleaning mouldy venetian blinds

Ok, so it’s a job I think everybody puts off. But we are renting and moving in a week so I can’t put off the cleaning of my venetians any longer!

I started cleaning with a damp enviro which worked, but just a bit bulky. Then I had a brainwave- the travel envirocloths! I wet them all and put them to action!

They made the job so much easier and much quicker too. Once they were dirty on both sides, I just went to the next one and then rinsed them all and started over! Yeah another use for the travel/mini enviro cloth!

Also an ADDED BONUS- it’s great for small hands.

So next time you clean give the kids one of these cloths so they can help! (or buy the very cute ones just for the kids!)
