Gets dishes their cleanest, for a fraction of the price and without impacting on waterways!

Super Jet Dishwasher Powder will thoroughly clean your dishes, without leaving chemcial residues behind. It will condition and soften the water to minimise hard-water and lime build up in the dishwasher and on your dishes. It cleans dishes, glassware, cutlery, plastic ware, pots and pans, everything! It’s even more economical compared to most other detergents because you use no more than a tablespoon for each full load of dishes. And it’s phosphate-free, fragrance-free and chlorine-free so it can’t harm the environment.

So what is the problem with phosphates?

Make sure your dishwashing powder doesn’t contain phosphates!

Phosphates are the main cleaning ingredient in many conventional detergents and household cleaners because they break down dirt particles and remove stains by softening the water and allowing suds to form, which enhances the cleaning power of the detergent. Some dishwasher tabs are more than 30 percent phosphates!!!

However, there are human health problems and major environmental hazards associated with phosphates. Phosphate residues on items that have been cleaned with phosphate-containing detergents have been known to cause nausea, diarrhea and skin irritations.

The largest concern with phosphates is the environmental hazards they are creating. Phosphates are difficult to remove from wastewater and often end up in oceans, rivers and lakes, where they increase algae growth, choking off waterways and suffocating fish and other aquatic life, literally starving them of oxygen. Phosphates act like a “fertilizer” in waterways. When the overabundant algae die, they release toxins that deplete the waterways of oxygen. Phosphates remain active even AFTER wastewater treatment, so they are best AVOIDED, not just minimised.

(with ‘green’ powder options that claim a low environment hazard – chlorine- and phosphate-free, totally biodegradable (not just the surfactant), the packaging is 100% recyclable, minimal petroleum-derived ingredients and no dyes or artificial fragrances)

how much dishpowder to use

However, convenience comes at a price! They can cost much more per wash than powders. Switching from a premium tablet to Norwex Super Jet Dishwashing Powder, for example, could mean saving over $180 per year on dishwashing detergent alone, while still getting good performance. And that’s before we consider the health and environmental savings!

Tablets also need a longer cycle time to allow the detergent to fully dissolve, so you can’t use fast wash and delicate cycles to save time, energy or water.

So, our powder is cheaper and there are further energy and water savings to be made!

Good news

I would just like to thank my AWESOME leader Cathy Lee for this detailed information 🙂

Complement with the Magnet Ball & use less powder!

Norwex_Household_magnetball-1The Magnet Ball prevents calcium from building up in dishwashers and washing machines, resulting in softer water and requiring up to 70% less detergent. When hard-water spots on your crystal and dishes making you nuts? Are you using more detergent, thinking that will get them clean? If you’re using more dish detergent, hard water may be causing you to use more laundry detergent than necessary, too.

Use a Magnet Ball in your dishwasher and washing machine. It softens water and prevents calcium and lime buildup. Plus, using the Magnet Ball allows you to use less detergent! Also FABULOUS in the washing machine (top loader) and you can use half the detergent in there too!!
